| Normal? Coralline algae growing on snails?? It is normal to see coralline algae growing on your snails or is there something way off balance in my tank? I just have a basic water test kit from Red Sea so I am unable to test or Calcium, phosphate....etc. _________ Scott 265g (Peninsula)

| Hey it's good to see coraline on snail.  Certainly better than hair algae. Actually when my tank was first cycling
my turbos got some hair algae on them. It was pretty comical. A couple of them
we named superfly. The algae fro was twice the size of the snail. When they got close to a CL outlet, they would get blown around the tank.  After a while I did pull the algae off. Any way Better to have coraline than nusance algae.

| Coralline growin on snails will help facilitate the spread of coralline. It's a good thing.

| While using PurpleUp, my turbos turned purple with coraline algae. It was awesome!

| szidls I would guess that is a picture of your tank szidls. What is the name of the pink coral towards the top of your avatar. It is beautiful. |

| Otty, The top coral is a montipora capricornis. It is a red orange color but my pic isn't the best. Thanks for the compliment.
