| Mainden's hair algae i have a large outbreak of maiden's hair algae and it taking over the tank. How do i get rid of this stuff. Fox Face rabbits, tangs, lawnmower blennies and hermits wont touch this stuff |

| NO3, PO4, Si fuel algae. carbon, rowaphos, regulating your feeding, a refugium, lots of live rock, husbandry, high pH, and clean up crew will help

| standard maintenance, cleaning and so on
ozone or uv kills all bacteria including good, and it doesnt rid of the source of the problem
how is your system set up? |

| I was talking an oxidizer to help clean it up. The oxidizer would be a very temporary situation to help clean up the residue from the initial problem. You still have to find the problem/root cause and fix it, or it is only a temporary fix (and it will grow back) |

| its a 180 gallon BB with a 40g sump. There has to be about 200lbs of LR. All parameters are fine. Ph is a bit low.. 7.89 |
