    I wish I could get some in the UK. The most common spp. is Lithothamnion
    corallioides
    and form maerl beds. Given the right conditions and when it grows out, it looks fantastic.

    Really, I have never seen my tang eat coralline algae.

    Good God am I an idiot..... Should have scrolled down. I thought he was looking at gracilaria.


    Have never seen or heard of what you are looking at.

    I thought the stuff would be great to boost coralline algae but I think I am good. I already received my first spots today after three days of introducing a coralline live rock into the tank.

    Are you suppose to put in in the tank as-is, crumble it into crumbs and distribute it, or break it into small "nuggets"--- anyone ever bought any of this???
