Default How to>
Hey I bought a used tank that obviously had an attack of algae. I was wondering how to get dried old dead algae off the magna float, and these weird white tip of pen sized things off of it. Soaking it does nothing. grrr

Along with what Amcarrig mentioned, those white things(spirorbid worms) should be able to be removed by using an old credit card or comporable scraping tool-making sure that you don't scratch the glass/acrylic tank, however!
