Snails, hermits, hares, urchins. There are alot of ways to fight GHA. I'd start with a good clean-up crew and parameter quality. New lights or, bad lights can spur GHA growth. How long has tank been set-up, parameters such as phosphates etc. ?

First check your Po3/4, No3 levels. 2nd is this a dead area, if it is, try to direct more flow to that area. Tangs, some blennies and some crabs are known to eat LHA.
BTW, your Po3/4 went out today(usps)

I agree with both Mission and Luna , of course not knowing how long the tanks been running dictates on what you can put in there now .

Of course remember "Old lights" tend to change spectrum and that encourages this type of growth .
and if the tank is new' and just cycling leave the lights off and do some tests , Im sure nitrates, phosphates are way up.
Do some water changes as well that will help .

( do you have fish / corals in there now ?)

Need to check out a couple of facters.
1. How old are the bulbs?
2. Have you checked your PO3/4, No3 levels?
3. You should also check your Alk, Cal and mag levels.
4. Do you over feed?

As for the Po3/4 kit, it was shipped yesterday. Get your alk up to 12, Cal at 400 and Mag at 1400. Increasing your O2 would also help.
