Default green hair algea

ok i have green hair algae on my fake plant ornament and some of my glass

i scrape it of the glass except for a little bit which i let live (is this correct)

i tried cleaning it of the plant but it it stubburn ( should i try and get a live plant to replace it )

the ornament (shipwreck ) has it on the top of it (should i clean it or leave it , it looks pretty cool making it more realistic)

answers for any question would be appreciated

p.s freshwater tank

First, see if your camera has a downsizing option for emailing.

Second, are you running a Mac or a PC?

If it is a Mac, just resize it in iPhoto to your desired size.

If you use a PC, what photo software do you use?

Glad to see you figured out your photo dilemma.
I had similar issues on my nano brackish tank, no matter how many water changes the algae was excessive. A UV sterilizer could eliminate many of the algae waterborne pores and keep it in check and preventing any algae blooms. However, 13 fish is several fish for 34 liters, and very small for UV sterilizer. Your Bio load might be feeding your excessive algae too.
On your ornaments issue, I have heard of people using bleach to fully clean them. Just make sure you fully rinse any remaining bleach before replacing back in the aquarium.

Phosphates and nitrates are the issue. Use good r/o d.i water and change the water weekly from here on out might look into some liv plants and or some algae eaters and maybe a phophates sponge and denitrate controler of some type for F/Water.
