| Fish Wig Out Was using a brush to gently scrub the algae off my tank, my yellow tang was not amused. He was darting at the back of the tank from one side to the next screaming, "What kind of giant bristly fish is trying to eat me." My clowns were chillin' in their normal area, probably too busy hitting the doobie to notice. They paid me no mind. The yellow tail was peeking out of his secret cave with a look of utter astonishment. Humbug said, "Hrmph!" And the snails went all "turtle" on me.
I felt really bad invading their world with my giant alien hand and giant alien bristly fish type thing brush.
So sad.
Praying to the algae god's to make it slow growth Friday. |

| My fish aren't phased by my sticking my hands in the tank. They actually accompany it as they know that I will be feeding them or cleaning the glass. My Yellow Tang will follow me as I scrape the glass of small amounts of algal tidbits! _________ 125gal.w/Mag9.5 return(dual megaflow)>Mag7 pump Aqua Cev180skimmer.Wave2k Hamilton Reefstar(2)250watthqi(mh)pend.a Yellow, Naso Tang Red Lip Blenny Percula Clown Demoiselles Niger Trigger F. Probably a good idea to get the magnetic cleaner! Will look for one at my LFS this weekend.
It was my first time cleaning the glass so they were a little spastic. They may get used to it. They may not. Could be I need to play some Enya while I do it.

| Meh, fish do that. My yellow tang is a big baby too and often runs...can fish run?....when I approach the tank. But he comes right back out because that also usually means I'm about to feed.

| yeah it takes alot to phase a snail or hermit, my bicolor psuedochromis acts all tough, fighting his reflection and sometimes chasing the clowns from his area, but as so as I get near the tank or the lights go off he is hiding in the rocks, and the clowns just keep doing there thing like nothing changed...I guess saying it runs away is not quite right, maybe darts, or dashes, swims like hell, whatever suits you I guess |

| clowns My two clowns are not afraid of anything. They are very territorial. When I put my hand near their anemone they get ticked. They always swim up to my hand and paddle me with their tail fins as a warning. If I get any closer they attack and bite me. It does not hurt but sometimes unexpected. It pisses me off but I cannot help but laugh. When I retaliate and try to move them away, they swim away. The second my hand stops attacking and moves away from them 1 inch...they attack. Little bastards are not too dumb. It does not matter where I clean…they come over by my hand and paddle me and nip at me. They are like “I am not afraid of you….get away.”
