Default Extra cheato anyone?

I know sometimes people are willing to part with cheato that is extra in their sump for a nominal fee. I was wondering if anyone had a little extra I could pay for shipping. I don't really want to pay some guy on another forum 18 bucks for cheato. Thanks guys.

Does anybody on the West Coast have some cheato they could ship to me? It seems like lots of people are selling it on the east coast but i'm not sure it will be ok for regular post from that far. Search deep in your hearts and sumps people and see if you can find a peice of cheato for a newbie

Thanks bouraganes, that's a real nice looking site with some great looking corals. Unfortanately I can't spend $150 to get free shipping and it's not cost effective to pay that shipping for the macro algea. I just got married so I'm trying to keep my wife and I on a budget while still building a decent reef. I need the cheato to bring down nitrates and make my tank better for coral while I save up to buy some. I'll keep your site in mind though. Thanks again for the help.

Check out Tank Raised Algae and macro algae homes for sale at macroalgae.com and Home.

Check out the sea lettuce at inlandaquatics, its a very fast growing algae that grows in sheets and tangs love it. I like it better than chaeto. because it is so fast growing and uses up excess nutrients and it does not go sexual.

Hey Conceited,

Where are you located? I have some extra cheato here in the SF bay area. I can't spare too much, but I could give you enough to get started.
