Default Coralline growing over some kind of red algae?

Okay so I bought these rocks from a lfs, one that I don't usually shop at. I asked the seemingly uneducated employee what type of algae was on this rock, he said it was Coralline, as I was pretty uneducated at this point too, I just thought "cool" and took it home and was surprised at how cheap I got it.

This dark red algae is now being taken over by my pink coralline, that's fine with me, but, what is this dark red algae? Is it good, bad? I've had these rocks in here for about 5 months and it seems to stay on these rocks and if it spreads it's very little.

Thanks!

Default

Also I should have mentioned it seems a little fuzzier than then pink coralline that I have. Apparently my pink variance is more dominant huh.
