Default Clear Slime! Help!

I have a wierd kind of slime growing in my tank, and it is taking over everywhere. It doesn't really look like an algae but it could be. Can't really get a pic because of how translucent it is. Any ideas and how do I get rid of it? I'm freaked out I really don't want a tank with this crap all over my rocks and sand bed.
