| Re: bUBBLE ALGAE When ever I remove Valonia Sp. algae, or Bubble Algae, I do one of three things.
If I can take the rock out of the tank, I scrub and rinse it in tank water real well.
If I have to remove them in the tank, I use a sharp pointed knife to scrape them by the base coicidentally with my siphon tube to remove the algae. I also stab and squirt them with a smidgeon of muriatic acid in a syringe and they dissappear in a couple of days.
HJust trying to minimise the spores in the tank from removal. _________ Just tryin to recreate God's perfection in a glass bowl. 20 Gallon Reef W/Live Rock, mated pair of Maroon Clowns, Softies, 110 watts PC 10,000k lighting, and skimmer. |

| Re: bUBBLE ALGAE Home Depot has it. They sell it by a gallon for like $5.00. Enough for a life time!
Mix it 50% - 50% with hot water in a glass cup. It is highly corrosive and so keep it in the sink. |

| Re: bUBBLE ALGAE You're welcome. One last thought, you might want to wear rubber gloves if your skin is sensetive. |
