Bogie Eyelash Blennie Join Date: Feb 2008 Location: CT Posts: 1,275 Karma: 4622	pink to blue is the colors for the API Alk test. But Tangster is right, that you don't need to be any more exact in your Alk readings than saying your Alk is about 11 or 12. My API kit does 1 drop per dKH reading. I can't read 12.2 dKH, b/c I can't put in 0.2 drops from the bottle. It's more just don't care to than can't - I could if I wanted to using a small syringe like the one that comes in the Mag test kit...but it's not necessary. _________ >> Insert witty signature quote here <<
