Default Question about Salifert KH/Alk Test kit

This just came in, and I'm happy with it so far, seems easy enough. My question is (for anyone else that may use this test kit) For the color change, it says "Continue adding drops until the color changes from blue/green to an orange-red or pink color (whichever color is observed first). When i did the test the solution turned a shade of purple at around 11 dKH and didn't turn into the clear pink color until 12.2 dKH, so which color change should I be looking for, a clearly pink solution or the purple color.

Thanks in advance

If I did the test right, my dKH is @ 12.2 btw.

Other reading are:

Ca = 465 ppm
Mg = 1520 ppm
