Default 3 anemones followed me home - no joke! Info??

A friend of mine hasn't touched his docked sailboat in months. He decided to sell it, so we went and put it in the trailer, and took it to his house. During the unload process, we found 3 aggregate anemones attached to the bottom, and they had miraculously not been smashed by the trailer.

I ran down to my house, snatched my gear, and acclimated those babies!! I put them in my tank, and they've been looking GREAT for a week now. They're each about 2.5" in diameter (mostly green w/ red tips), and they MOVE FAST!! One is already in the process of splitting (fission based reproduction), and another is climbing over a patch of button polyps... now we're gonna have problems anemone!

Though I've done extensive research, I'd like to know more from field experiences. Has anyone heard about keeping these anemones in tanks??
I've lived along Cali's coast from San Francisco to San Diego, and I've seen patches of these guys everywhere, especially in La Jolla. I know they are in the polyp family with all other anemones, but are the stings strong enough to take out some coral?? And what corals would they harm if any??
