Rubbermaid bin with tap water/air rated, added Prime and heated it and made sure the salinity was the same as the tank. You may want to change the water on the third day and/or until the ICK is under control.
My Yellow Tang is most intresting fish to watch, hopefully you can reintroduce your tang back into your aquarium and enjoy him for many years to come. 
Do you have a cleaner skunk shrimp and or cleaner wrasse ? This helped my yellow tang with ICK.
