I agree with the previous posts that ich is something that lies dormant in your tank waiting for a fish to become stressed before it attacks. Just FYI coral beauties as a whole tend to stress easily. It does not surprise me one bit that yours got ich when he was introduced. I wouldn't stress out about it to much if he's dealing with it and the ich isn't actually killing him. I can tell you from personal experience that they are more prone than other fish to ich. In all honesty I would get him a cleaner shrimp and let them become good friends. (This is of course assuming that you don't get a killer ich episode. Most of the time coral beauties can cope)
