If you've been trying to farm it for a few months and have seen the same shredding, as wildreef describes as, spreading. I think you'd have it every where. Make sure you keep the nitrates down. Fish/inhabs. can go longer without food than you'd think. I've experienced xenia to be pretty bulletproof. Pulsing Xenia vs. Scissors

Yes as Mission says it's bout bullet proof, I think ya could take it out roll it on the floor and let the cat play with it , then throw it back in the tank and it'll grow. LOL
