Yes indeed, before changing a coral to a different tank, you most first compare the lighting difference, there for you need to acclimate the specimen to it's new environment do to the conditions of the one where it came from. (example) be like going out on a sunny day without any sunglasses, or coming into a dark room after being outdoors all day, but with a much greater effect. when I say acclimatedon't mean only for ph and water conditions but for different lighting also, some times the specimen may discolor or change shape till it get use to it's new environment
