I set up my 90 gallon and filled with water and am using a euro reef rs135 with a filter sock and chemipure. 80 lbs of live sand, about 75 lbs of live rock...30 - 35 lbs of the rock was from my old 30 gallon and 45 lbs was from my lfs from aobut a week and a half ago. I am experiencing the haziness before and after the addition of the new rock and today threw in 2 med. sized bags of charcoal. Everytank ive set up is crystal clear within a few days of starting the filters with chemipure. Im wondering whats going on? Anyone have an suggestions? I even used around 10 gallons of my old water from the 30. My skimmer is pulling a foggy colored yellow foam/water from the tank so maybe i just need the skimmer to catch up? All the fish are doing great, eating like pigs and swimming around happy as can be. Ive set up 5 tanks or so this route but never the slight haze in the water til now. Any suggestions?
