It should not, no. Some people may argue that the medication will kill some or all of the "good" bacteria in your tank but I have treated my full reef tanks countless times with Maracyn II with absolutely no ill effects. If your fish was eating, I would suggest just soaking its food with the meds but that's not the case. Just follow the instructions on the box and good luck! |
