For the pump I would certainly get at least a HammerHead instead of a Dart. You will be real suprised how little water movement you will get out of the Little Giant in such a large tank. I had 4 running and swapped them out for 2 HammerHeads and still think I need a little more flow but that is just me.
Keep us updated on the build. Hope you put back a good budget because once you step passed the 180g mark, things change and that change cost a little extra money.  |
Thanks for the tip on the Hammer heads.. If all else fails I'll keep the Little Giant as my return and step up to a bigger closed loop pump as I don't want that much flow through my sump.
I'm well aware of what it's going to cost and planned accordingly
