If you're looking to reduce organic waste, polyfilters or chemi-pure filters work great. If you have heavy metal problems, or need to suck out medication quickly, polyfilters work great. I'm not that large of a fan of carbon, just cause you'll go through it so quickly and you get much better results with other chemicla filters for less money. |
RPG,
I currently just rely on the live rock natural filtration and a skimmer.
Have done this for several years.
I am investigating the best price and value of RO Di units (There is a thread under water chemistry) I hope that good water slowly phasing it in once a month on regular water changes will be the answer for a lifetime.
