Looks like its foaming right along ' Did you notice any results from the soaking as for the performance of the skimmer ?
For what ever its worth never dilute vinegar to clean any marine equipment. Its hardly acidic enough to work full strength and thats allowing it to soak overnight. I try to soak all my stuff twice a year in like i mentioned Lime away or CRS or better yet Muriatic acid is what I prefer. Try to keep a 5 gal bucket of that always . I soak 1/2 my stuff the first time then 6 months the other 1/2 then its a semi annual rotation after that Really keeps pumps and skimmer and reactor working properly . Oh and the above mentioned chemicals will not harm the equipment or tanks animals .
