I took mine and cut a baby off of it. I had it out of the tank a total of about 3 minutes(if that) I had everything that I needed on the table next to me and had some tank water in a small bowl. When I cut it off I did it in the water gave both places where I cut a good dousing of iodine and then glued it to the rock and stuck it back in the tank. I then put the big one back in and everyone has been happy since. They never slimed one bit. Not sure what I did right but they are both very happy. I hope yours does better soon...We have enough to worry about in our lives at it is lol
