Sorry, I should have been more clear. I was wondering if anyone had used this as base rock. I would likely seed it with some LR from the LFS. After reading Matt's article on sustainable reef keeping I'm not especially excited about filling my tank with 70 pounds of rock that were originally part of a wild reef ecosystem, but I don't know if I have the time for DIY rock. I'll probably end up going with a mix of LR and base rock from the LFS.
Anyone out there ever use this stuff in their tanks?
