Default

I use all 3...

Chemical:Carbon, if people dont know why you should use carbon, they need to look it up, lol.

Biological: Wether it be liverock, bio balls, bio sponges, they all work in aiding the nitrogen cycle.

Mechanical: Filter socks and/or poly pads for physically removing debris, wether it be something that was dropped in there floating around, fish poop or excess food floating around. EDIT: I forgot to add skimmer, thats mechanical filtration too.
