What are you feeding? I have a tank full of sps corals and I feed them only once a week so keep that in mind. I've also kept montipora corals at the very top of my tank with no issues but it can't hurt for you to start yours lower in the tank until it acclimates to your lights. If you want to move it up, do it gradually over the course of a month or so
