Knock of a 1/4 inch for each glass panel and there you have it 1/2 inch shorter and 1/2 inch narrower on the inside If you can't get a skimmer into a 20 long to run away with a 65 gal. tank then you have far far far more skimmer then you need (: a skimmer for that tank would have a foot print of 7x10 inches and thats larger guess I ran a 20 L sump on a 90 for many yrs with a top fantom and then a red sea Berlin classic and XL then put a ETSS 600 in it.. Plenty of room Looked the skimmer up what size tsnk are going to put it on and are you going to add a refigium ? this is a rather large skimmer for a reef tank unless you are moving up to a larger system ?
