Besides having a couple peices of LR in mine(which I wouldn't do if I did it over again), I am trying to follow that approach! Quote:

lol? Now see what happens when I am sick for a couple days.
How am I being shamed all of a sudden for saying grats? Since when does making a statement mean, that I have to explain myself thoroughly for saying something. Harmless really in my opinion.
Since it was brought to me attention. I shall explain anyways.
I'm not knocking Otty's setup here. Spectacular really. It's just i've seen some really great videos out there that at first sight I would have thought had nailed the contest immediately.
I didn't mean to come off rude or nothing O.O |

| Sorry if I misinterpreted what you said, but yes, it did seem kind of sarcastic. I think it was a combination of and "grats I guess" that did it for me. Didn't seem too heartfelt in my eyes . Quote:

Didn't seem too heartfelt in my eyes . | I'd spoken to *Zectra* about his mixed feelings about it , while we both agreed Otty's tank is the Bomb, and really speaks loudly.
He'd felt that the "larger more expensive tank/s" , while impressive to say the least, felt the maybe that some of the guys with smaller systems did'int quite have a fair shot at it.
And felt of course that some took more time in producing, flare, music, etc.
I my self felt that Otty's system was very impressive and over all picture/goals he has set for it will look great as time passes.
I tried to base my vote on an over all picture with the way it was produced / maintanance / equipment / methods and age/growth of inhabitents.
We concluded that "size classes" might have been a little more fair, considering the cost's involved in this hobby, clearly Otty's system is a lot more expensive than say' a 55 gal. set up, i my self droped sevral thousand on my set up alone.
I hope in time that all the larger systems that belong to a few in here , have great success and pile on some growth/diverisity as i am working on m 220 and didint even think my tank "worhty" of such compitition, but hope to in the future.
But any way's Otty it's a VERY nice set up, I hope to see pics/updates as the tank ages and it puts on some growth with corals/fish etc. and it's very well maintained to say the least.
Congrats .
