Are you positive it's aiptasia? Not hydroids of some sort?. And have you tried Aiptasia-X... stuff looks pretty powerful, can't wait to try it out myself.... Or can I?

Either way, by the sounds of all the stuff your using, they should be dying if they truly are aiptasia.

Look for an Australian Copper band butterfly.

Good example for us all, why important to get after aptasia early and quick.

Yesterday saw about 200 lbs of LR in bucket at LFS, all completely filthy with aptasia.

Somebody trying to trade in.

Try butterfly, but if does not work out...Best maybe to get rid of, or start over with nuked rock.

You know Scott this hit the nail on the head , I find this is staring to be come common place with LFS and all these Frag swaps and here to day gone today operations.. The LFS will take it and give the guy a 100.00 store credit on exchange for a item marked up 10x's and the LFS makes buck on both ends as they will clean the rock maybe a little and sell it for 10.00 a lb. and pass the plague right on. LFS here had tanks so filled with Acro eating bugs and Montipora Nuidies and flatworms and selling corals right and left from the tanks. Like Scott/Otty he had someone to trade or swap him a infested coral he fought of months to get rid of..
I have had it to happen also that LFS sold the wife a acro and then baaam I was loaded with the red bugs. If I get control of this algae that by the way is starting to die off it looks like I'm going to Q/T every coral that ever goes in it again. Bar none unless I'm a 100 million % sure its from a trusted source Maury LOL . Been watching to much daytime T.V I guess LOL

I love that baby's daddy percentage math and fractions LOL
