Default Igloo

OK I have never shipped a frag before.
Here is the container I have to ship in.
I put some looped ties on the bottom with silicone to tie the frag down. What do you think? will work or won't work?

I think it's great.
Just put bubble wrap around the spout and or a plastic shot glass. That should do it.

With a normal thermos I guess you fill the whole thing up, but do you do the same with this?

If not I imagine there is definitely a 'this end up' thing going on here.

It seals nicely and I hear a suction going on but still makes me wonder if it will hold.
Once the silicone is dry I will have to test it with water in it.
Another option would be to put a plastic bag around the whole igloo then put the lid on it whats ya think?
I tested the spout and don't believe it to be an issue but will put a cardboard guard in front of it. This is going to be boxed up with plenty of foam and air bags so I hope things will do OK.

That is brilliant Dave! *I would maybe use a little plumbing tap around the female part of the lid to get an air tight/leak proof seal. *In addition, you can tape over the spout and tape the intake to eliminate the chance of leaking, although in a well packeged box the risk would be mininal. *A few of the dry warming bags and some good styrofoam packing should make your system more of the bomb.

Another thing....How much water should I put in it? Fill it all the way up? 3/4 of the way?
Opinions please.

I would allow about 3/4 fill just like they do with critters you get from the LFS so there is some oxygen.
