| Re: What is your favorite powerhead? I have to vote for the Maxi Jet. They always work, I don't clean mine and I use them on my wavemaker so the take some abuse.

| Re: What is your favorite powerhead? I haven't tried enough of them to have a favorite. I have an aqua clear?? and a zoo med power sweep. They work, I don't really like the aqua clear as they need constant attention. I do like the power sweeps wave action, but I have not had it long enough to know if it will be a winner.

| Re: What is your favorite powerhead? I choose Maxijet because you can use them forever and ever on a wave timer. Step on them, coat them with the coraline 10 layers thick, use them to drain of fill your tank but most of all they are the cheapest thing in the hobby if you compare them to the Tunzes. Sure I would like a Tunze system but I also want a 52 inch TV and dont have one of those either. On the other hand I have 8 or 12 Maxijett pumps I have either bought or aquired from other people and they just work. And if they do quit I wont cry about either I will just look in my box and pull one out and brush off the white calcium powder, attatch a couple suction cups from somewhere and Im in bussiness. Now if my 350 dollar Tunze testarosa controler takes a spike from the flakey power comapany and I have to drop another hundred fifty into my already way way overspent box 0 water ...well I still wouldnt cry but I would curse and that would be an additional 50 cents in the swear jar. So....Maxijet it is. I also have one of those Tunze clones with the propeller...cant rember the name right now but it was 35 bucks. I like it also.
Yea I did not sleep much last night

| Re: What is your favorite powerhead? Only used MaxiJet and penguin, but the Maxi seems much better. The Via-Aqua that I am using for my return pump is the berries for the price, but I'm not using that as a powerhead!
