My glass tops pull up a lot of salt.

Inverts: turbo snails, astrea snails, tiger striped serpent star, sifting star, skunk cleaner shrimp, sally, red ball sponge, 50 or so hermit crabs |

I usually knock it into the tank. But I only have it around the in-stand-sump

It isn't good for your tank, especially if a chunk ends up landing on a piece of coral!!!!

I was thinking the same thing Coral Reefer, how could this be good? I am sure that this might even be a cause of high Nitrates in my tank! | |

I try and toss mine out - brush it off the tank not in. Always knocked mine into the tank until a big chunk landed on my anemone a couple months back. He shrunk up so fast and didn't really recover for a couple days. After that - no more into the tank.
