| I do both things, start out with a soda bottle filled with water and left in the freezer. Then just take off the top and let it melt(ro water) and it cools the tank slowly as well as top off my water level.

| Mine is up about 3 degrees and that's with
no lid.
If it gets too warm I turn on ceiling fan(actually helps)
open windows and shorten or change the lighting period
to a cooler time. |

| Mine is on the rise as well....around 82...I keep the ceiling fan on in the room and that helps some....down side is the water evaporates a lot faster..... |
