I test about every 3 days i have found that its easy to go ahead and check levels when i clean my skimmer it takes a little time but i dont have to worry about levels getting out of hand i really want to buy the test probes that tell me instantally what the levels are but for now i just use a test kit although i do have a refractometer man i love it before i had 2 hydrometers the cheap ones and i whould check the same water and get 2 diff readings DROVE me crazy.
