| I have had pumps to jam more times then I care to recount LOL I as a rule try to take them down and service them at least once a yr. Just did them last weekend. At the Ca. and DK levels we run it takes toll on them and the seals and impeller's .. I have a skimmer now that I need to replace the venturi cone in water is so hard it wore it to large to create any pressure increase to allow the air to be drawn in to make bubbles.. |

| Yup, I have had the powerheads suction breakdown and of course the powerhead has to land on a coral and blow other corals off of the rock they were situated on. I have also had my pump for my skimmer jam... _________ 125gal.w/Mag9.5 return(dual megaflow)>Mag7 pump Aqua Cev180skimmer.Wave2k Hamilton Reefstar(2)250watthqi(mh)pend.a Yellow, Naso Tang Red Lip Blenny Percula Clown Demoiselles Niger Trigger F.
