I was looking into thier lights about 2 mos ago, when doing research on the web, there were too many reports of the ballasts catching fire for me to trust, it is a nice looking unit and the price is very tempting, but for me it takes along time before i get that thought outta my head, im just over cautious.

Hey Hotstix, this light fixture was bought on Ebay from a member called Hommby. Look him up, he sells all size lights.

Considering the 48" x 760 odyssea for my 90 gal. How much increase in electrical usage should I expect over my compacts.

I called my elec. company before buying the lights and asked them the same Q. For me, To run the lights 10 hrs a day for a month was going to be $15.00. Just call them and tell them how manys watts and for how long each day and they will tell you how much. Hope this helps, Luna.
