It was very strange to walk into Petsmart and see T5 light fixtures for sale.

Yet, after rubbing the eyes, it was clear that they indeed have several Hagen T5 HO GLO aquarium fixtures for sale now. Make note, you freshwater plant tank people and nano reefers, as these 2x39w T5 HO fixtures from Hagen may be the answer for your lighting needs. Especially for less than $130.

Looks really blinding to tell you the truth. I've personally seen this system and the light output is amazing.

one of my buddies got one of the retro kits like 2 weeks ago, and he cant shut up about it, hahaha.

They are really bright! Tek Lights have a serious competitor now!

You know, for the price (most were around $115), the only major quibble I had was with the largest size I saw - the 4 footer - it only had only a 54w bulb. I don't understand why they didn't make it a 2x54 - they seemed to double up on the smaller sizes.

I have the 24" which is 2 X 24watts, it's great. Very bright, waterproof end caps.

The one travis got is a 4x54w retro kit.

I dont know the model of it, but its the Hagen T5HO GLO 4x54w retro. He bought it from a LFS in Knoxville.
