| The New 3reef Member Map is Live! Click here for a screenshot how-to get on the 3reef map HOW TO ADD YOUR HOME LOCATION:
1) Click the 'Your Entry' button near the top.
2) Zoom in to your location on the small map to the approximate location of your house. (People in USA can get pretty close if you keep zooming in!)
3) Click on map where your location is.
4) Add a desciption of your place like 'My Groovy Pad' in the Marker Text field. (please note that special characters like apostrophes and such will not be saved in the desciption due to a database dealeo for now so you might as well not use them.)
5) Hit the 'update your information' button. You're on the map! HOW TO NAVIGATE:
If you are familiar with Google Maps, then this should be intuitive. heh.
Simply use controls on the left to navigate and zoom. Click the buttons on the top right of map to change map styles. TIPS:
- The link to the map is also found in the top nav of the forum nav bar.
- Zoom in a bit to click on balloon markers to see what member it is. Click on their name to go to their profile.
I had to sift my way through 33 pages of documentation to find all the bug fixes. I think I got them all. Let me know otherwise.
More features to come .... enjoy!

C'mon Bruce use the map controls and zoom in to where you live and click on the map - like the instructions say.
Or get coordinates with this and punch them in: http://www.zipinfo.com/search/zipcode.htm Get on the map! |
