Hi, not long ago i bought 8 LED's [6 white +2 blue] made a plastis fixture to hold them, wired them in parralel and plugged them in. It was an experiment, that was 6 weeks ago now, and all my coral's fish and invert's look better, and the dappled effect is unbeleavable. The total cost was under £50, Give it a go...Regard's.
