Hey Chaps ... ! One short question ?! What are You planning to use it for ?! As far as I understand it measures TOTAL impurities: that will be Fe,Cu,Ba,Sr,Hg etc ... etc.. Many of them are substantial components of marine water and are always abundant ...

You use them to check RO/DI units and tap water. They were originally user by water plants to check the purity of water to make sure the levels of total dissolved solids are within the "safe zone" for human consumption. | |

Thanks a bunch amcarrig. Just ordered one. I have been using my rodi water without testing it but now I will be able to see if there are any impurites.
