With all the activity lately I have been thinking about doing some polishing around here. Here is my list please add your suggestions as well.

Add more integration between the galleries and the forums.
Add sub-directories and the ability for users to set album thumbnails in the gallery.
Add a sub section to the refugium section about ATS systems.
[S]Upgrade the Top menu to fix cross-browser issues and add new boards.[/s]
Fix bugs in message center.
[S]Active Member 'owns' avatar.[/S]
[S]ADD MORE 'SKINS!'[/S]

- Upraded the top menu and added the new boards.

EDIT (3/29/03):

- Added 3reef auction board with real-time bidding!
- Added a fragging/trade board per request.
- FINALLY fixed the colors on search and 20 recent posts pages!

I think that's enough for today!

Oh and last night I rewrote some text in step2, step3 and the sand section.

maby since ur into planted tanks and i always had freshwater you can put a small topic section for freshwater fish also most people that have salt has or had fw at some point

Ok, here's what I think:

You definitely need a "forum" for Inverts. *This would include shrimp, crabs, amphipods, stomapods, and also, anenomes, tunicates, bryzoans, etc., etc. *Just about anything in the tank that doesn't have a backbone.

Which means you also need a separate "forum" for corals. *Hard Corals, Soft Corals, Mushrooms, Polyps: *this would be a great place for members to post more pictures, as well. [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

I think a "forum" about Water Quality or Filtration or Both is needed. *Just having the two on Protien Skimmers and Sand doesn't cover everything that goes into properly filtering a marine tank. *You could include Protien Skimmers and Sand as "sub-forums" under the "general forum" of Filtration. *I don't know, it's just some ideas.

Finally, a "forum" where members or non-members could post a problem and get fast answers. *You could call it ASAP or something like that. *All of us have had times where something has happened to our tanks, or to one of our fish, and we need an answer FAST. *We call the LFS and they brazenly show us their ignorance. *Where do we turn? *A "forum" that would offer researched answers from knowlegeable staff would be a big advertising tool, Matt. Edit: I like the idea of limiting avatars to one person only. I am VERY choosy about my avatars. I hate seeing other people wearing mine.

Let me think about how to do all this, one thing I worry about is making this forum have so many boards that it becomes impersonal. You know what I mean? Am I being paranoid?

Anyway there are some mods out there that may help, I know there are some that make sub-boards, boards 'collapsable' and remember your preferences. I'll look into it.
