I have a 44 gal. almost 5 months old. Ive had a scooter dragonette(mandarin) for about 4 months. he was the first fish i added do to the timid nature. these species are a lil easier to ween from the pods. mine eats brine srimp with spirulina. feeding is a lil bit of a task beacuase you have to but shrimp in a glass jar and lower it down. this fish has the best personality ive ever seen in a fish, he is more like a tiny dog. i know the other mandarins are harder to ween off pods, but if you like the look of mandarins
scooter (blennie, dragonette, mandarin) might be another option. mine is alot fatter since i got him, his body probaly doubled its thickness. he still picks pods during the day, but gets his fill from the brine shrimp. Ive also hatched baby brine shrimp he def noticed them, but ive yet to find a way to effectivly get them to stay in one spot.
