 Do you feed your snails?
I purchased 7 snails.....one for my 24G and 6 for my 75G. I think they're Turbo snails. They're about the size of a quarter and have a giraff pattern on their shells. Quite pretty. They stay under the sand except when food is added to the tank. Guy at the FS told me I must feed these snails as they won't eat fish waste. When I feed the fish (frozen and flake), the snails emerge from the sand and crawl up the glass...missing any chance to get some food that has settled. How in the world am I supposed to feed them...and what would they like to eat? Many thanks.........Kas |
