Can eat while doing
Can fall asleep while doing

Can put on "pause" to make bathroom trip
Not having to have really, really expensive camera gear
Easy to duplicate trip
Disadvantages
Ummm...being to told to
"get off the damn couch and get out and clean the F$%^ing gutters!"...
