 cleaning Live rock
hello.my tank is cycled 2.2 months old, 1 fish,3 hermits. im going to the store tomarrow to get more LR 3 medium small pieces. the store sells cured live rock, i trust them that it is cured. the store is only 5 min from my house. so there should be little to no die off. i dont want to put my tank threw another cycle again. my question is how do i rinse the rocks off befor i put them in my tank without killing off the benifical things. i want as lil die off as possible from the dealer tank to my own, so i dont start another cycle. also i have 1 aptasia, on my existing LR he is right on top, and starting to get big. if i use boiling water, does it have to be injected into it, or can it just be squirted on it with a baster. i dont want to go buy a needle. im 23yr old male, thier is alot of heroin around these days. and i dont want the cops following me to my house. |
