 CORALIFE super skimmer 65GAL HANG install.
Hey guys, so I got rid of the seaclone 100 and got me a Coralife super skimmer(65Gal.), now, I have it hanging on the side of tank, I just installed it today, according to the manufacturer, it will take up to 72 hrs. for the unit to break in...Now, I have been reading some of your posts about ways to get rid of the difuser box or replace the sponge that comes with the unit. Where can I buy a better sponge and/or what other tips do you guys have for me regarding this unit.
At the moment, the skimmer is dumping an EXCESSIVE amount of microbubbles back into the tank, is this normal during the break-in period? and if not, please advice on what to do.
My tank's still cycling...I have one damsel in the tank, can the bubbles harm it?...I'm kinda running out of options here. Thanks for the help. |
