Well we have a huge barrel of the tri carbon pellets at the shop .like a 1,000 lbs of it all i can say its done nothing special there and its the dirtiest stuff I ever had the displeasure to work with. Now that having been said I brought a few pounds home for this tank we have here . I want to compare apples to apples. I will say I like the sound when water hits it real fizzy (: . But I'll try it and see what it does . I'm an old horse and it takes a lot to impress me I have seen more then a few greatest bestest newest products come and go in this hobby over the last 40 plus yrs..
