Default Majano Anenome ???--Good/Bad--???

Anyone have experience with Majanos....

Appears to be a wide variety of them...most of the ones I have seen on the web are much smaller then the type inhabiting my tank. On the whole they are described a nuisance that will quickly spread throughout a tank.

Unlike others generally depicted, mine are 4-5 inches across, reddish in color and often bubble tipped. In fact they look just like a small bubble tip anenome.

Mine spread by division, albeit very slowly... in 3 years I have only 7-8 in tank. After dividing they seem to want to find a quiet place in the tank where there is not much else living.

I do not go out of the way to feed them at all and I run a very "clean" tank.

My maroon clowns love them and spend lots of time working and "wallowing" in them.

I am just wondering if these are Majanos at all (?) or I just have a very benign varitey.

I like mine.

(I have experimented with Joe's Juice to rid myself of a couple just to make sure I could get them under control if needed...it works great) --- so far not much need.

Thoughts...?
