Nice post Diver! If I might add an additional acronym that may be encountered: CRI- or Color Rendering Index, which is a measure of a lamp’s ability to render colors accurately. The CRI scale for lamps attempting to reproduce natural sunlight ranges from 1 (very poor) to 100 (the sun). Many MH HQI's have a CRI of 85 and above, which is considered to be very good.
This may not be as relevant to many readers as the information you present above, but just throwing it out there!
